Bold Majority is committed to protecting your privacy. The following Privacy Policy governs the online information collection practices of www.bold-majority.com (the “Site”).

This privacy policy does not apply to any information that you may provide to us or that we may collect offline or through other means (for example, via telephone or through the mail). By visiting and using the Site, you agree that your use of our Site, and any dispute over privacy, is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. How we collect and use information

You do not have to identify yourself or provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address (“Personal Information”) to use the Site.

If you should choose to give us your Personal Information, you decide how much information to provide. At various points we ask for your e-mail address, thoughts and comments. We will use your e-mail address to provide you news and information about Bold Majority PAC.

Information about our donors and web site visitors is one of our most important assets and therefore we keep it confidential. Personal information is made available to others for the following, limited purposes:

To Comply with Campaign Finance Laws. We are required by federal and state law to collect and report to the Federal Election Commission the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals who make contributions to Bold Majority PAC. This information is made publicly available by the government.

To Carry Out Your Requests. We also may be required to disclose personal information in order to carry out your requests when you use the site. For example, we will share personal information with third parties as necessary to complete a donation transaction or to deliver an e-mail to someone you have identified or when we disclose your return address as part of the service.

To Protect You and Ourselves. We release personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law (e.g., a lawful subpoena), to protect our rights or property, or to protect our donors and supporters from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct, or if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of records without delay.

To Support Democratic Candidates and Partner Organizations. We may disclose selected personal information (other than credit card or bank information) to other Democratic campaigns or organizations who share our values for their use in campaign activities and other projects.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We treat your first name, city, state, and any comments as Public Information. We may make your comments along with your first name, city, and state available to the public. Non-identifiable website visitor data may be collected and used in aggregate to help shape, direct, and improve content of the Site.

Cookies

We may also automatically collect certain information through the use of “cookies” or web beacons. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive at the request of a website. Among other things, cookies help us improve our Sites and your experience. Information obtained from cookies and linked to personally identifying information is treated as personal information. IP Addresses and Log File Data

The IP address is the location of your computer or network on the Internet. We log your IP address for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We also use page hits in the aggregate to track the popularity of pages that people visit in order to improve the quality of the Site. There is no Personal Information collected in our log files.

Opting Out Information

Subscribers to our email list may terminate their subscriptions via a link at the bottom of each email sent from http://www.go.bold-majority.com.

Children’s Privacy Statement

To help ensure the safety and privacy of children, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. We do not knowingly allow children under the age of 13 to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information through the Site. The Site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13, and we have designed it to block our knowing acceptance of information from children under 13 whenever age-related information is requested.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of 13 as part of the Site, we will delete such information from our records. Security

SMS Terms and Conditions

By signing up and entering my telephone number to receive campaign alerts, I consent to receive and authorize Bold Majority PAC to send (i) SMS text messages, (ii) prerecorded audio messages (including calls to cellular phones), or (iii) other communications sent by an autodialer to my mobile device.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, provided that the foregoing does not apply to sharing

(1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes);

(2) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process.
